Latest remark of the real estate market in Costa Rica, Guanacaste:

The property and real estate market in Costa Rica, Guanacaste seems to be very different from region to region at present. While around the area of the Arenal and particularly in places such as Tamarindo with plot prices with up to 300 Dollars for the square meter, reached its border apparently, the prices are still very down-to-earth in rural regions. Also in places such as Nosara, Sámara and Carrillo the prices are getting higher and higher, however there are still clear and there are very beautiful and low-priced properties on offer. In those places more and more offices of the estate agents are being opened. Many people with little background knowledge try to work as brokers.

When purchasing a real estate one should attend to acquire a property that has a title, because the situation in the zona publica (50 m of the beach zone with absolute building prohibition) and in the zona maritima (150 m after zona publica) is still very confusing.
