Our Costa-Rica-vacations we spend at the beach Carillo in Sámara, Guanacaste in the year 1993. As we arrived in Costa Rica everything seemed to be like a typical, adorable “banana republic” to us. Starting a live and a business here was a real adventure. Only a fistful people lived in Esterones de Samara and there was no road from Nicoya to Sámara. Before this area was connected to the rest of the world, supplies for the locals were brought by boats or horses.

Humans were seen very seldom by the crocodiles, monkeys and the other exotic animals that live in this region.

In accordance to the untouched nature we started to establish our hotel “Paraiso del Cocodrilo” and today we can be really proud of the achievements. In the past as well as in the present we offer our guests the perfect mixture of recreation, entertainment, nature and personal space as well as the warm feeling of being at home. Our philosophy is to create and offer an atmosphere that keeps you smiling and relaxed.

This also includes moving without any stress or pressure, relaxing at the amazing, white sandy pacific beaches Buena Vista, Barrigona and Carrillo, spend a good time at the pool or a taking a nap in hammocks beneath Indian palm roofs. You will enjoy our mixture of delicious, local and international dishes in our restaurant or a fancy cocktail at the bar. You also have the possibility to rent cars, motorcycles, bikes as well as surfboards or games. We also offer tours through the surrounding area and we always go the extra mile to make your wishes come true.
